Leather Details
Leather is a natural product, and some collars may feature authentic natural patterns in the hide, this is normal in premium full grain leather.

Please note that these colours are a guide only as different monitors can show the colours differently.
Leather
We make most of our collars from veg tan bridle leather. We cut the collars by hand and round the edges before adding the different designs.
The colours of leather that we have available can vary due to what our suppliers has at the time. At the moment we have Black, Chestnut, Burgundy, Red, Mid Tan, Blue Forest Green and Blue. We are looking into adding more colours soon. We also have a very limited supply of Purple contact us for details if you would like to order a purple collar.
Not all hides that we can buy are suitable for leads, mainly due to the length of the hide being too short.

Designs
Our designs are embossed into the leather and then optionally hand painted. If a design comes with the option of different colours this can be selected on the product page.
Please note that the following colours are shown on black/chestnut leather and may look different on other colours of leather.
Dragonflies can be painted with a combination of 2-3 colours to give an iridescent look as shown below:
Linings
We can add linings to our collars in suede. These are hand sewn with a matching thread. By default, our collars come without a lining and this is how our own dogs wear them.
As a special order we can add a sheepskin lining. Suitable sheepskin can be difficult to source and we don't always have much of a range of colours. Please contact us if you would like a sheepskin lining.
Fittings
For most of our collars we like to use solid brass cast buckles and d rings with matching brass rivets. Optionally we can also provide fittings in a silver colour, with welded d rings and matching rivets. Where a collar uses these by default it will be indicated on the page. To specify silver fittings instead of brass please put a note on the extra info area of the checkout.
Crystals
Some of our designs incorporate decorative crystal rivets, these are no longer available in the UK but we do have some in stock, but we are not sure if we can get more once these run out.
Conchos
Some of our designs incorporate conchos, these are very difficult to get in the UK so we may not be able to source these.
